An Extension of Musty: From Myself to Those I Hold Dear

I saw the Cowboy Bebop Netflix trailer yesterday (okay as of writing this, it was actually today but y’know what I mean: it was before I slept), and it’s nice and all to see so many characters (lots of them being antagonists) return, as they’re all shown in the intro, but……. didn’t they say it wouldn’t be just a 1:1 remake? If so, why: why is the intro pretty much just that? I mean it looks cool, I like the look of it, but is it really worth pouring all that money into a series only to just do what’s done before? I still want to be really optimistic, and I’d totally watch a 1:1 live-action remake but, from a creative point of view, this project in itself seems redundant.   I’m typing this from my uni accommodation! It’s a perfect sized room and plenty of space to display my favourite things but, for some reason, the summer weather’s decided to stick around well into September and, since the window barely opens, it is immensely warm in here at all times of day! At least there’s a saving

I was always fond of diaries, but I never found pen and paper to be all that intuitive because I was always prone to stopping midway through sentences and directing my trail of thought in another direction. Hardly a problem now that I have my first ever laptop (it’s become an entire noun unto itself: ‘my first ever laptop”), but crossing out sentence after sentence made for a  very   tedious writing experience. So, yeah:    I’m now on my way to becoming infinitely more tech-savvy by catching up on all the laptop related wonders I missed out on growing up. Punctuality is important of course, but this step of progress really is better late than never. It’s happened at just the right time, too. I’m 9 days away from moving to campus as I (finally) start uni, and I hope to bookmark this embarkment towards freedom by creating a space to mark and remember words I wish to share.
